Oppo Find X has three cameras mounted on one pop-up slider – dual camera on the back, single on the front. There’s a 3D facial scanning system as well on the front.
The slider mechanism is motorized and can pop up in a moment. This makes the front to have a 6.4” OLED panel (1080p+ resolution) with very narrow bezels, even the chin is very narrow. The official screen to body ratio is 92.25%.
There iss no fingerprint reader, so the phone relies on its 3D facial scanner for secure locking. This requires the pop up slider to slide out, look at your face and unlock the phone, then slide backin.
The dual camera have 16 + 20 MP lenses while the selfie camera is a 25 MP shooter.
The Oppo Find X is powered by Snapdragon 845 chipset with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of storage. The battery is big 3,730 mAh with VOOC fast charging for quick charging. Phone runs Android 8 Oreo.
This is a dual-SIM phone with worldwide LTE band support. Price is still unknown but pre-orders will start soon. Also, Oppo is apparently working with carriers so we might see better availability in the West.
