Huawei is already working on its own Harmony OS operating system called HongMeng OS in China. At this time, the Chinese tech giant is preparing to release the ultimate beta version of Harmony OS.
According to some sources, Harmony OS Beta 3 will be ready for testing on March 31st, and the first stable version planned for commercial use will be disclosed in April this year.
Some time back, a beta version of Harmony OS was released to developers, and on February 22, Huawei CEO Yu Chengdong said that the Android substitute for smartphones would show up in April.
The first devices to receive the Harmony OS operating system include the Huawei Mate X2, the Huawei Mate 40 series, and the Huawei P40.
The organization is also working on the flagship Huawei P50 series, which has been delayed until May this year.
All Huawei and Honor smartphones having Kirin 710 SoC, Kirin 810, Kirin 820, Kirin 820E, Kirin 980, Kirin 990, Kirin 985, and Kirin 9000 will receive Harmony OS.

A few days ago, the first pictures of the larger model of the Huawei P50 line were publicized; which is to be unveiled under the name Huawei P50 Pro Plus. Also, This smartphone received a unique camera configuration with a huge periscope module.
It is anticipated that the smaller variant of Huawei P50 will be equipped with a Kirin 9000L SoC; which has not yet been officially revealed. While Huawei P50 Pro and P50 Pro Plus will receive Kirin 9000E and Kirin 9000, respectively.
Also, previous leaks suggest that the Huawei P50 will feature a 6.3-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate; and a chassis that measures 148.9 x 71.06 x 8.5mm. The smartphone will receive a metal covering, and the rear will be wrapped with glass.
The presentation of the Huawei P50 series is expected in May.
