Primark abrió su primera tienda, llamada Penneys, en 1969 en Dublín y, en la actualidad, cuenta con más de 380 tiendas repartidas por doce países de Europa y América.

Diciembre de 2008: Róterdam (Países Bajos). Ahora contamos con 20 tiendas en los Países Bajos.

Diciembre de 2009: Lisboa (Portugal). Ahora contamos con 10 tiendas en Portugal.

Diciembre de 2009: Bremen (Alemania). Ahora contamos con más de 28 tiendas en Alemania.

**Noviembre de 2011:**las concesiones de Primark abren sus puertas en los grandes almacenes Selfridges de Birmingham y Mánchester (Reino Unido).

Septiembre de 2015: Boston (EE. UU.). Ahora contamos con 13 tiendas en los EE. UU.

Abril de 2016: Arese (Italia). Ahora contamos con 7 tiendas en Italia.

Abril de 2019: la tienda Primark más grande del mundo abre sus puertas en Birmingham (Reino Unido).

Junio de 2019: Liubliana (Eslovenia). Se trata de la primera tienda de Primark en Europa Central del Este y con ella se introduce en su 12.º mercado.

Agosto de 2020: Varsovia, Polonia. Con esta tienda, Primark se introduce en su 13.º mercado.

La tienda Primark más grande del mundo hasta la fecha es la de Birmingham, que dispone de una planta de ventas de 14 800 m² repartidos en cinco pisos. Este establecimiento incluye tres espacios culinarios, entre los cuales la primera cafetería Primark en colaboración con Disney. También cuenta con un estudio de belleza y una barbería.

Our main milestones
1969: Primark opens its first store in Dublin, Ireland. In Ireland, we have 37 Penneys stores.

December 2008: Rotterdam (The Netherlands). We now have 20 stores in the Netherlands.

June 2019: Ljubljana (Slovenia). It is the first Primark store in Eastern Central Europe and with it it enters its 12th market.

August 2020: Warsaw, Poland. With this store, Primark enters its 13th market.

The largest Primark store in the world to date is Birmingham, which has a 14,800 m² sales floor spread over five floors. This establishment includes three culinary spaces, including the first Primark coffee shop in collaboration with Disney. It also has a beauty studio and a barber shop.
