PickApp Farming is an application that is designed to help farmers monitor the productivity of their workers and the quality of the produce. Using the app in conjunction with our portal proves to increase productivity and improve the quality. In addition, our system enables traceability for the produce in few different ways.
The app works with a system that keeps track on how much produce (fruits/vegetables) each farming worker picked. It provides information to the farmer on exactly when, where, how much and how good the fruits or vegetables are, how well each of the farmer’s workers works etc.

The app scans individual stickers that are assigned to each box/crate or other containers of produce. The worker that scans the box is assumed to be the one who filled it with produce. The app then transmits to the Farmer’s Portal all the data and the GPS location of each sticker. The app also has a QA (Quality Assurance) mode which allows the farmer or a designated worker to scan a box of produce that was picked by possibly someone else and assign it various QA attributes.
In addition, the app can generate delivery note (like a bill of lading) that assists the farmer in knowing what exactly was sent to the packing house.

The PickApp Farmer’s Portal contains a lot of helpful and statistical information for the farmer. Registration is needed through the portal.
