NuClinico is the latest cutting edge meal tracking application specifically designed for research data collection. To provide meaningful data to clinical researchers, NuClinico has been designed to collect a series of photos of packaged meals from a meal delivery service and pull nutrient information from a curated nutrient database. The user provides a photo of the packaging, meal prior to consuming, and meal after consuming as well as what percent of the meal was consumed. NuClinico identifies the food item from the photos and uses the data collected to calculate nutrient information. Researchers can in turn use this data to track nutrient intake and determine the effect of diet on clinical research outcomes.
