What is the waitlist?
The waitlist is our record of who has made a full profile on the app. We have a waitlist for two reasons:

Quality of Experience – By reviewing each profile for clarity and realness, we can ensure a high-quality, consistent in-app experience.

Community Size – Size doesn’t always matter, but in this case it does. To ensure you can create quality connections, we need the right amount of members in each city. You can sign up and tell your friends to help Motto launch in your area sooner.

Who is behind Motto?
We are a group of queer people who know there is a better way to connect with others in our community. We are tired of wasting so much of our time and energy, endlessly scrolling other apps and websites. They all require too much work for so little payoff.

We are frustrated by having to ask people for more pics or what they’re looking for. While they once served our community, many of the existing LGBTQ+ dating and meeting apps have created a toxic culture.

There’s a better way. We’re using technology and building a strong community to solve these problems.

We found other queer people who felt the same — and enlisted a bunch of straight allies, too.

Curious for more? Our launch city is Miami in the fall of 2021, but we’ll be quickly expanding from there.
