【物語の舞台】
『ノルダニア神聖国』はノックシア大陸南部に位置する人間族の宗教国家である。
この国は今、多くの問題に直面していた。特に『オルド連合体』との間の緊張はいつ戦争に発展してもおかしくないほどの高まりを見せていた。
『オルド』は様々な種族の連合体である。ディランド地方に先住していた彼らは、そこへ進出してきた人間族と幾度となく領土を巡る争いを繰り広げてきた
その戦いに参加したことによりノルダニア神聖国とオルドとの間には因縁が生じることとなる。16年前の戦争を最後に休戦協定を結んだ両者であったが、今や再開は時間の問題だった。
その中でノルダニアを守るために武器を取り立ち上がる者が現れる。そう、あなたはこれより祖国のために戦わんとする1人の戦士として、長い旅路の1歩を踏み出すのだ…
