The app is provided as a handy reference utility for cardiac sonographers and is not meant as a guide to echocardiography for patients. As such it does not provide medical advice. The BSE recommends that echo reports are only interpreted by suitably trained healthcare professionals and patients should be directed to their referring healthcare professional for final interpretation of an echo report, before making any medical decisions.
